Our mission is to spread the Gospel one shirt at a time by getting people on Team Jesus.

As it says in Romans 10:9, faith begins with believing in your heart and declaring that Jesus is Lord. We exist to help people move beyond just believing into living it out, practicing their faith, and stepping into the life God has called them to live.

About Jesse Pratt & Team Jesus

Team Jesus was born from one simple mission: to spread the Gospel boldly and help people fall in love with Jesus Christ.

Founded by Jesse Pratt, Team Jesus is more than a clothing brand. It is a ministry movement created to encourage believers to live unashamed of their faith and represent Jesus everywhere they go.

Since an early age, Jesse believed in Jesus and accepted Him into his heart. He always knew who God was and believed in the truth of the Gospel, but it wasn’t until a full surrender to Christ over the past decade that God radically transformed his life. As Jesse grew closer to Jesus through prayer, studying God’s Word, serving in ministry, and daily surrender, the desires of the world slowly became less important while his passion for Christ continued to grow stronger.

Through that transformation, God changed not only his priorities and direction in life, but also his heart. What once was simply belief became a deep relationship with Jesus centered on obedience, faith, purpose, and sharing the Gospel with others. Jesse has experienced firsthand the grace, forgiveness, peace, and life-changing power that only Christ can give, and that transformation became the foundation and vision behind Team Jesus.

What began as simply wearing Christian apparel eventually became one of the greatest witnessing tools in his life. Shirts with messages about Jesus consistently opened doors for conversations about faith, salvation, hope, and the love of Christ. They created opportunities to share testimony, encourage believers, and point people back to the Gospel.

For the past decade, Jesse has also faithfully served in the student ministry at Relevant Church. During that time, many students connected with the shirts he wore and wanted apparel that boldly represented Jesus. Jesse began giving shirts away to students and others who wanted to publicly represent Christ. Every time he gave one away, he reminded them that if they were going to wear the name of Jesus, they needed to understand who He is, what He did on the cross, and what it truly means to follow Him.

As a lifelong sports fan and passionate supporter of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Tampa Bay Lightning, Jesse became inspired by the loyalty and passion fans show for their teams. Fans proudly wear team gear, sacrifice time and money to support their teams, study the players, and boldly represent them no matter the outcome.

That vision sparked a powerful realization. As believers, we should represent Jesus with even greater passion, loyalty, boldness, and love because Team Jesus is the only undefeated team and everyone is invited.

In 2025, Jesse created the original Team Jesus shirt featuring Romans 1:16 as a challenge for believers to live boldly and be unashamed of the Gospel:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” Romans 1:16

What started with a few shirts quickly grew into something much bigger. Over 250 shirts were personally given away to students and believers as encouragement to share their faith and represent Jesus publicly. Eventually, Jesse realized he could no longer continue funding the mission entirely on his own but still deeply desired to keep giving shirts away and reaching more people for Christ.

That is when God gave him the vision for Team Jesus Merch.

Every purchase now helps continue the mission by allowing more shirts to be placed into the hands of people who want to boldly represent Jesus and spread the Gospel. The heart behind everything is simple: to do all things for the glory of God.

Team Jesus is about far more than apparel. It is about helping people know Jesus personally, understand salvation through Christ alone, grow through prayer and God’s Word, and then go out and live boldly for Him in everyday life.

The mission also extends beyond clothing. Team Jesus is actively working toward serving local communities, creating opportunities to love and serve others, and helping people become the hands and feet of Jesus. Through future outreach events, service projects, ministry partnerships, and community involvement, the goal is to not only wear the message but live it out.

At its core, Team Jesus exists to remind the world that Jesus transforms lives, salvation is found through Him alone, and no one is too far gone for the grace of God.
